Re: Exchangements interview for Whatif ")
Nice questions.
1. What inspired you to make an exchangements based forum?
Well, I made an exchangements-only forum because it seems that exchanging forum posts, page clicks, and all kinds of internet stuff is pretty much a big essential for website promotion nowadays. Also, it was a lot more original and convenient for me to have just an exchangements-based forum besides making another promotion forum.
2. How long ago did you make this forum?
I made this forum, I believe, last month (December). I don't really see how I came across making it, but I do remember that I was working on a new theme to propose. But when I finally fixed up the green theme, I actually kinda liked it and then decided to keep the forum as one of my forums.
3. When you first made the forum what heights did you expect it to reach? Are you disappointed with your forum?
Well, I made the forum to work on a new theme, but then the forum ended up to be one of my daily forums that I work on and have proposed for everyone to enjoy and log on everyday. I didn't and still don't expect it to be one of my best forums (like how ForuMansion outcomed to be), but I do want it to be a landmark to display how original I am.
4. Who is the most trusted member/staff on your forum?
Haha, I don't basically have any staff members besides MiniRadi and a few others, so I will say MiniRadi.
5. Have you always enjoyed completing exchangements?
Definitely! Now that I see how big of an aspect and necessity they are in the web-building world, I believe that they can become a big essential to website growth and promotion.
6. You have a very nice and light theme, who made it?
I wouldn't say that it's 'light'; the word 'bright' would define the theme a little more, haha. But anyway, as I stated before, I pretty much made the entire theme.
7. Other than forumansion where did you promote your site?
I mostly use website directories (such as easysubmits.com) and promote my site on other promotion forums.
8. If you were offered 100 USD, would you sell off your forum?
Exchangements? Well, of course considering the low activity ratio at the moment.
9. Have you ever felt as though you might give up on the forum?
I do for every forum that I make. It's not very easy to stable many forums at once. Look at what happened to Alypse, Ultrax, Free Rider 2 Forums, Rokalyptica Graphics, Quick Ads, N-Virus, and many other forums that I made. However, I do see potential in Exchangements, and I believe I am going to stick with it for a very long time.
10. What was the best exchangement, in your opinion?
I don't think I know, but I'd say that the 'dragon click-for-dragon click' exchangements.
11. What criteria do you base your staff on? Are you content with your current staff?
I barely have any staff, but I'd say that I'm content with them. I don't know what criteria to base them on, but I suppose activity?
12. Are you planning any new updates in the near future?
Nah, not any updates that I can think of. But if the members suggest something that they really want in the forum, then they will most likely receive it.
13. Are you still searching for more staff?
Yep!
14. Does your forum have a motto? If so, what is it?
My forum's motto is 'Exchangements - Your one-stop necessity!'. I'm pretty fond with that for now.
15. Have you tried your best to make your forum succeed?
I'm still trying, and I think that just promoting at ForuMansion is good enough. I don't plan on making theforum humungous.
16. What do you do to help bring in members?
I mostly promote in the 'Exchangements' section at ForuMansion to receive members.
