Changes?

Some of you may have noticed that I have been coming on and off various times with the board, and I have been noting down some suggestion's that could be made and here are some that I noted and you may be best depending on them.

You have a nice friendly lack of active staff who are always on their feet willing to help and covering up their job's as scheduled, they do a nice job of keeping the forum clean and active.
You have good content, you guy's are noticed for your creation's and services that you guys offer to your community but I think there could be a change. I personal don't like the forum icon's as they make my eye's melt, I do not mean to be harsh to any of you's but I am sharing my feelings and I think they could be updated seeing as they have not been updated. Also I think you ould change the nav-bar it's to big and stand's out a tad to much, also when you are posting something you constantly get scrolling ad's at the top of your page and it can get pretty annoying when you concentrate.

I do know that you guy's have new version's of FM every often but I think it's a chance to take a look at what actual professional design you can make and see if you can make money out of the site to offer better provided services. I think it's time that you guy's take a step u to 6th gear and focus on what FM can really become.

Yes it is a successful community, but it looks like a kid's site when you view the banner and theme. Perhap's if you provide two themes, a dark theme would be a nice change and a light theme for member's to use but I know HTML would effect that in all ways. Rok and admin's it's probably the best of time to look at your target's and see what ForuMansion can provide to it's users.

Yet again, I do not mean to be offensive in any way, but the truth has to be spat out and it's basically a way of expressing yourself, thanks - Lee Lawson.

I think i have to agree with you. The forum could be much better with the looks.

There is a few discussions going on within the upper staff on re-vamping the forum, yes a new skin is on the itinerary, and yes, a multi-theme selector is also a possible idea, which means we could have several themes.
The problem is that it's currently not supported by G-Chrome, but I'm trying to find a way to fix that, but it aint looking good

As far as the nav. bar goes, I believe it's quite good, but I'm on a good size monitor, so I can't really talk for smaller and/or larger monitor people.

If you would like new forum images, then please post them and we'll discuss them, and depending if Mr.Indecisive founder [ ] (Who doesn't want to change anything) likes them then we'll change them

I don't exactly want to give a link to every image, but either the graphic team create new one's with FM copyright, or check out www.iconarchive.com and you can find some there. Also i noticed that when you either post a topic or use quick reply or generally look about, yu se, ForuMansion v4.2 :: FRONT DESK :: ForuMansion-Related. I have no problem with that but seeing as front desk is an actual image and I don't see why it can't be the same as others. every board on the forum has it, if you don't exactly know what I mean, it is next to the 'New Topic' & 'New Reply' icons. And glad to see that you are discussing.

I think the mansion has passed the point where a great theme is needed. Look at fujiplanet for instance. The mansion is at the point where people are beyond registering by how it looks. To add to this, we don't have such a bad theme anyway.

But if it does come to the point where it is decided to create a new theme, i'll be ready to help

And, I could maybe lend a hand. ;P

If you guys would like to make a few themes for us to decide out of after a little discussion it would be great.

Lee, the category names being images is, again Rok (AKA May's [ ]) fault

I too agree that we need a new look, but ROk won't change his mind.... my time in admin trying to convince him to allow us to get a new theme, or atleast go to PunBB and edit the templates was all at avail.
