Actually, the whole forum qualifies for only the index page. The only thing divided from the index page that can be reviewed is the first impressions of the Portal.

Only the index page (forum) and the Portal will be. If you set a HTML page as your portal, then that qualifies as the portal- so it will be reviewed.

Alright here are my complaints.

1.) "Categories & Forums (Score: 6/10): One thing that I want to suggest is the names of categories. Make it to 2-3 words. Example: Zantherus Society, General Discussion, etc."
He simply tells me what I should change, but not why. Forums like http://www.zybez.net/community and http://zoklet.net/bbs/ only have one or two words for their categories. What is wrong with "Technology" and "Life"? That describes it perfectly and doesn't need changing.

2.) "Images & Icons (Score: 7/10): The images is okay. The only thing I will suggest is to put icons for the sections of your forum. Example : Paint brush icon for Graphic Expression." What? Why do why need icons? The above forums I mentioned (which are far bigger than this forum and Zantherus, and the Zoklet one just started up earlier this year) don't have icons. And using icons make the forum image heavy which is a no-no to people who use phones to access forums (yes it happens a lot). And I would rather not wait for a forum to load, I just want to post.

3.) "Member Activity (Score: 7/10): I will suggest that you have to put more contests, activities, etc. So that members will be more active and always be online." Most of our members are located in the US, I'm not sure if you're aware of that. And your review was posted at 2 am in the morning (our time) and so you never saw our activity which was about four hours earlier.

4.) "First Impressions (Score: 7/10):The first thing that I have notice is the part, If you aren't already registered. I will advice you to make your welcome message more shorter and more informative. Viewers will easily catch that message if you make it clearer and if you use formal English language." That's the point. The point is that we aren't supposed to be formal at all. When people review forums they are supposed to take a look around at the community. If you saw that at all (you are a new reviewer though so I am letting you go on this one) then you would see that the community is a bit... out there

I am sorry if I sound critical. But I don't appreciate being used as a test dummy. I have done reviews before and people have always liked my reviews; heck, my first review ever was critically acclaimed by my other staff team and the person who received the review (but he didn't even get a good score!). I am requesting if I could get a review by one of the staff members rather than someone who is trying out for the staff team.

To Joel, my tips for you would be to look at the forum in-depth; if the review is in-depth, I don't mind waiting three days for the review. Look around at the topics and get a feel for the forum; are they serious, are they silly, or are they just plain bad? Yes, a review is supposed to be a newcomer's impression for the forum, but you should be looking at more than what a regular guest would look like.

Also, I know that forumansion has icons for the forums, but a majority of forums don't have that kind of standard. You pretended as though icons were a non-existant forum standard and you tried to apply that standard to us, thus hurting us in the score when in reality most forums don't use them. If you still wanted to suggest icons, you need to justify it, because simply saying "you need icons" isn't enough; WHY do we need icons?

The key for reviews is not to be ambiguous. You need to make a statement about the forum (preferably a statement that is backed up by previous experience) and be able to justify your suggestion. For my reviews, for each category, I always had a subcategory which stated "What I Saw" then I explained what the forum had. For example, they had two admins and four moderators. Then I had a subcategory that followed that stated "Improvements" and then I stated my opinion, which would be "A forum with 500 posts and 20 members should not have two admins and four moderators, because blah blah blah blah". You don't need to take my suggestions since everyone has a different style but I always found this to be extremely effective. For every opinion about the forum you make, you need to back it up with concrete evidence (or so my freshman English class said).

Just some extra things, first the graphics:
I told you it was a new forum and obviously I wont have the graphics up yet and obviously the banner came with the skin

but they are 2 different skins unless your saying ForuMansions looks too much like a pre-made skin. And you do realise Rok used this type of light theme either because he like it or because the main 2 promotion sites out there both have light themes so please don't say its a clone.

Customize it because we are getting annoyed of how people our stealing Rok's and the staff's ideaas. We work hard on it.

I know how hard you worked I'm on the forum more then anybody on the forum. And as I have said its a new forum and graphics take a long time to get when you start a forum Roks has been up nearly 2 months and he is still looking for graphics, so I am planning to customise my forum.

For color scheme, good but copied. For Forum Layout, horrible. I mean, first of all, the'yre stolen. Second, General Discussion should be in the first category. Third, Presentation categories should be put in Forum Advertising, I mean come on, it's like the same thing. There are even more stuff I shouldn't talk about.

Again it is not copied. The general discussion is at the bottom because it is a promotion site not a general discussion site. And about the forum presentation/advertising thing think about it in the future when the site is more popular there will be a lot of people with stuff in the presentation and lots of people doing stuff in the advertising section so to make it easier I put them in different categories.

Now I have a few questions i wold really like answered please

The graphics looked wrecked, a deserted island, etc.

What do you mean by this I couldn't understand it at all

Navigation Bar: No cuztoomized navbars like 'Shop' or 'Donate.' The icons are stolen from ranks here and probably a poor Google search that the icons don't match to the skin/theme. Gives 0/10

Just want to say I will be adding things like that soon I have a few ideas. But what image ranks are you talking about there are none and I have stolen no images from here

Images & Icons (Score: 2/10) First, no icons in forums. Second, too dark for the skin. Third, hard to see.

Now I'm just confused you said there was no icons then you said they were too dark then hard to see and all of those statements contradict each other, what do you mean by saying that

Anyway, there is too much stealing and robberies from here. Including packages. Stop that.
